I am a Southern California native and new to Los Angeles. Im looking to get into commercial work, modeling and Acting. It’s always been a passion of mine to entertain and make people feel good about life. Connecting with all kinds of people from adults to children is what brings meaning to my life. Basically putting a smile on their faces, brings a smile to mine. I am a hard worker ready to take any challenge.
Some of my first work on set was doing a stunt on “scrubs” and extra work. I was enthralled by the process and seeing the actors up close gave me inspiration and excitement and I knew that had sparked something new in me. A passion to entertain and perform from that moment on. I joined SAG/AFTRA union from that job, but I put all that in my back pocket because I had already been accepted to Chico State University in northern California. The plan was to get a bachelor’s degree in business mgmt. that would be the smart, safe path. So graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Project Management, but after working for a while I thought this wasn’t for me. I needed something more, more fulfilling, more passion, more joy!
I decided I was going to go for it. Make a change in my life and follow my dreams! It’s time to believe in myself and I started working on my craft.
“To get something you never had, you have to do something you’ve never done” -Denzel Washington
I got my acting start in community plays and fell in love ever since. The first one was “Machinal” a murder tale where the wife kills her husband in prohibition America. The next one was “Mix-Matched” where I played one of the dads that dresses as knights and wrestlers to entertain our daughter on the day of her birthday. That was a fun one being a comedy and hearing the whole crowd laugh left me wanting more. I found my passion and love and knew I needed more, so I started taking acting and improv classes, got me some professional headshots and arrived here in Los Angeles ready to work!
I also enjoy getting a morning run in everyday and some yoga to start the day. Making it to the gym three times a week, catching a movie in theaters every other week. You can find me doing many things from bartending to playing ice hockey. I’m always hiking one of the beautiful trails in LA and when I’m not on set you can find me at Trader Joe’s selling you the good stuff!
I am currently studying at Above the Line Acting Studio, coached by Brandon Gibson. Im also participating in several commercial auditioning and improv classes. I am excited to begin this journey and will leave you with the motto I live by.
